From Down Home Sessions V EP at ET Online TODAY

Cole Swindell, celebrating five years as a recording artist, premieres the video for “Right Where I Left It” at ET Online TODAY. (Click HERE) “Right Where I Left It,” written by Cole Swindell, Cole Taylor and Michael Carter, was the fourth of the scheduled five songs he is releasing from his Down Home Sessions V EP. The song was released last Friday September 27.

The video “Right Where I Left It,” directed by Michael Monaco, takes Swindell back to his roots –to his hometown of Bronwood, GA visiting the people places that shaped him.  Reflecting on the memories of his hometown he sings “I guess sometimes you don’t know what you got till you’re gone. Couldn’t wait to get out. Had to chase some dreams down, ain’t it funny how I found all I needed right where I left it.”

“I’ve always been so proud of growing up in Bronwood, Georgia,” said Swindell. “I left Bronwood to go to college and then left Georgia altogether to chase this dream of becoming a songwriter and an artist and travel the world. I feel so blessed to have been able to do and accomplish all I have, but it didn’t take long for me to realize none of it would have been possible if it weren’t for where I grew up, the way I grew up and the people I grew up with.  I didn’t get to include everyone but there are so many people in this video that have been influential in my life and I don’t think I would be here without all of them. I hope folks can relate it to where they are from and always know you can go home.”
