NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (September 14, 2016) Platinum-selling recording artist and CMA New Artist of the Year nominee Cole Swindell celebrated another milestone in Nashville yesterday with his co-writers for three of his five record breaking hits with a Triple No. 1 Music Row Pub crawl. Media and industry friends, along with family joined Swindell, who was awarded plaques for songs from his Platinum certified self-titled debut, including, “Let Me See Ya Girl” (Cole Swindell, Jody Stevens, Michael Carter), “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight” (Cole Swindell, Tyler Hubbard, Brian Kelley, Michael Carter) and “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” (Cole Swindell, Josh Martin, Adam Sanders).
To give his co-writers and each chart-topper its due respect, each song was celebrated at a different venue up the street from Warner Music Nashville. The event began at South on Demonbruen to celebrate “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight.” Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line sent a heartfelt congratulatory video message from the road to fellow co-writers Swindell and Michael Carter. The hundred+ person crowd then moved to neighboring bar The Dawg House where Swindell congratulated and celebrated his co-writers Adam Sanders and josh Martin (unable to attend) on their very first No. 1 hit for “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey.” The triple No. 1 party concluded at Tin Roof for “Let Me See Ya Girl”—the first No. 1 song for Swindell and Michael Carter’s co-writer Jody Stevens.
Meanwhile, Swindell is close to cracking the Top 10 with his latest single “Middle of a Memory,” off of his second album You Should Be Here. Swindell was surprised with a special serenade of the song, which is averaging two million streams per week, by Angelica Hale at the Miss America pageant this past Sunday in Atlantic City. The 9-year-old, who sang the National Anthem at the ceremony’s opening, is a member of the Children’s Miracle Network and met Swindell in a meeting arranged by the Miss America Organization. The video quickly racked up a million views and captured hearts of those who saw the performance.
Swindell is currently on tour with Florida Georgia Line’s Dig Your Roots Tour. He will continue his year-long schedule on the road starting October 26 for his own headlining CMT Presents the Cole Swindell Down Home Tour in tandem with the October 28 release of his Down Home Sessions III EP.
