    Platinum-selling recording artist Cole Swindell partners with CMT to launch his annual fan-favorite Down Home Tour with CMT ON TOUR Presents the COLE SWINDELL DOWN HOME TOUR. Following two previous sold-out tours, the third annual headlining tour kicks off October 26 at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, OK and will wrap in December. The tour will feature openers and rising new artists Cole Taylor, Travis Denning and Jon Langston. As with his previous runs, Swindell will celebrate the intimate club tour with the release of a brand new collection of music for the fans. His Down Home Sessions III EP will be available digitally on October 28 via Warner Bros. / Warner Music Nashville.

    “I can’t wait for my Down Home Tour this year, and am really excited to partner with CMT this time,” said Cole Swindell. “The fans in these cities and towns have been behind me since I first played in these clubs- supporting me in every way. Sending me Facebook messages and tweets. They have called radio stations to request my songs and spent their hard-earned money to buy my cds and concert tickets. I have always looked at this tour as a way to get back ‘Down Home’ where they gave me my start and just to say thank you.”

    Swindell’s video for his current single, “Middle of a Memory” will world premiere on CMT Hot 20 on
    Saturday, August 20 at 9:00 am ET/8:00 am CT (repeats Sunday, August 21 at 9:00am ET/8:00am CT) and onCMT.com simultaneously.

    The partnership marks the 15th annual tour for CMT, which has been a springboard for a number of country superstars.CMT On Tour launched in 2002, and has featured superstar headliners including Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Keith Urban, Jake Owen, Kip Moore, Brett Eldredge and Thomas Rhett. The tour is produced by Live Nation.

    Swindell, who has a record-breaking five consecutive No. 1 singles (first four being off his self-titled debut album) and who Rolling Stone declared is “clearly ready to move on to significance,” kicked off a national launch of his sophomore album You Should Be Here with performances on Good Morning America and TODAY, and the history-making first-ever live radio and TV event from the 57th floor terrace of 4 World Trade Center, broadcast on Fox & Friends.  The hit singer/songwriter debuted his new single “Middle of a Memory” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!“Middle of a Memory” was released to country radio and was the No. 1 most added that week. It currently sits in the Top 20 on the country singles chart.

    Cole Swindell, Platinum-selling recording artist and record-breaking five-time No. 1 hit maker, released his second album You Should Be Here and it shot to No. 1 on the iTunes Top Country Albums Chart and No. 3 All Genre within hours of release. Its lead single and title track held a four week run on top of Billboard’s Hot Country songs chart (tally of digital streams, radio airplay and sales) in addition to multiple weeks sitting at No. 1 on country airplay. The song just surpassed over 1 BILLION audience impressions (Mediabase audience: 979m, On-demand audio/video streams: 53m, digital track sales: 714,000+) including 25 million streams of the video on his own YouTube channel alone. The single has achieved more than 1 MILLION track equivalent sales. Additionally, he claimed the #1 spot on CMT Hot 20 Countdown for four singles across five weeks.
